Bmw E90 Number Plate Lights Not Working

Bmw e90 number plate lights not working.

Each of the rear number plate lights have a separate feed for power believe it or not. The problem here is most likely a cracked wire going in to the boot lid. A common problem on lots of generations of bmw models is the phenomenon of cracked wires in the loom. Number plate lights not working.

On the off side unit no bulbs are working for side reverse or fog. I waited almost 3 months for these to ship from taiwan. The near side unit left hand side light and fog light work ok but no reverse light. Similar for the e46 e39.

Finally they have arrived and i installed them in under 2 minutes myself. All the lights are working on the car except some in the boot lid section. You can see this on the right hand side of the car it will look like a black rubber concertina d tube. Both number plate lights work.

E90 e60 reverse lights or number plate lights not working. There is a cable harness that runs from the main body to the bootlid.
