Spoiler so i ve been running a lightside sith warrior who s going to join the republic.

To get elara dorne as your companion you have to side with the republic in the story. The point is that cross faction groups are restricted to iokath dailies iokath operations and iokath open world pvp. Choose to align your forces with the republic or empire in a brand new storyline explore the ancient and highly advanced planet of iokath or team up with allies to defeat tyth a deadly droid superweapon in the start of a new operation.

Granted i don t know the full ramifications of choosing a side here on iokath but i m just having a hard time with the decision. So if you do queve for a warzone in a cross f group on iokath you will most likely get a warning or you will be unable to queve or it will delete your character and sacrifice it to the deleted gods.
